Ghostly encounter in Hotel Langkawi

Although an atheist, I do believe in the supernatural existence of spirits and ghosts. This recent encounter happened to me 2 months ago while holidaying in Kondo Istana, Langkawi. This is very very very real, right from the start to the end.

In Langkawi, 2 months ago, I met this young chap who’s family is quite well off. Let’s call him Boy. He invited me, my girlfriend and another girl to Langkawi with all expense paid by him. I believe this is something not to be missed by anyone definitely. Fast-forward to on the day of the trip, we docked on Langkawi’s jetty at around 12pm. Right off the jetty, we got to a duty free liquor and checked into Kondo Istana in Kuah which is owned by Boy’s family. We got a room on the 4th floor and immediately ordered 8 plates of lamb chop from the cafeteria. By the time the 2 bottles of liquor were empty, it was already 7pm. Well, as expected the unit was in a thorough mess and Boy suggested we shift to another unit.

Since we didn’t really unpack yet as it was just a unit to drink have fun upon arrival, we just took all our stuff and went up to the highest 13th floor which housed penthouse units. We entered and as soon as we stepped into the unit, my girlfriend felt uncomfortable as she’s pretty sensitive to these things. Although such, not a word about what she felt was expressed as she didn’t want to spoil the mood of the holiday.

Sightings at during a Mamak Session

Thursday, November 22nd, 2007

What was supposed to be happy gathering turned out a horror when my friend freaked out. You see, all these while, my friend, Sue always has a gift that some called it a curse. She was extraordinarily gifted with the power of a 3rd eye. However, Sue claims that the 3rd eye does not always work and sometimes when she realized that she saw something that others did not see, she would be scared and it would be followed with a high fever for at least a week.

One incident that remained in my mind was one gathering with our ex-colleagues during a mamak session in Petaling Jaya. We were all having fun joking and sue appeared relaxed as well until approximately about 11pm she seemed to withdraw from every conversation and joke. One of my friend sitting next to her asked if she was feeling well but all she ever replied was a nod. At one point, all of us started to notice the funny changes in her. She seemed pretty distracted and kept on looking at a certain direction. Everyone of us was really concerned and since some of us knew about her gift, we immediately knew what was happening.

Sri Aman Damansara’s Haunted Toilet

Saturday, June 30th, 2007

This is one story that my friend told me teaching me never ever, ever to toilet alone in a place that you are not familiar with, erm, especially in the early morning!

I’m not really the kind of person that always experience any ghost or haunting. Not especially when this incident happened still left me feeling doubtful about it. Til this day, the sounds I heard is still clear in my mind although it was already past 2 years. It happened in a very early morning. Me and my sister have decided to go for some international marathon run that was organized every year. Without fail we would join the run just for the fun of it. Since I was staying in OUG, I would drive to my sister’s place at Sri Aman, Damansara where the location of the run held was nearer to her place. This year, however, was slightly different. Her friend decided to join us and since she could not drive, the plan was me driving to my sister’s place then we would car pool to her friend’s house in Kepong.

The plan was going accordingly when upon reaching my sister’s friend’s house my dear sister realized that she forgot to bring her running shoes. Thinking that we still had the time, my sister decided to head back to her house to get her stuff. When we reached Sri Aman’s condominium, me and her friend waited at the car while she took the lift and came back with her shoes. As we were driving out to the guard house, I had a sudden urge to go to the toilet. My sister suggested that I could take a lift up to her house since it was nearby but I thought that it was pretty troublesome since I had to wait for the lift and such. Then my sister suggested to use the toilet located near the swimming pool. I agreed and she stopped nearby.
