I used to work in a haunted office in located in Petaling Street back about 4 months ago and although I did not experience anything unusual during my short tenure there, my colleagues that worked there for the past year swore that there is definitely something there. If you have been to Petaling Street, you wouldn’t be surprise that the buildings there are mostly some 50 years back (I think) and I guess its no surprise if anyone mentions that there’s a ghost or two in some of those vacant building.

My office in Petaling Street are those 4 storey building. Back then when the company was still young, the company only occupied the first 3 floors (including the ground floor) leaving the 4th floor as a storage area. However, after the management decided to expand its business, only did they started to hire more people, thus moving the old furnitures and archieved documents to a warehouse nearby.

Author’s Note : I thought that I might as well post this story since its still fresh in my head after hearing from my colleague today who used to study in University Utara Malaysia or better known as UUM when she was younger

Yes, University Utara Malaysia (UUM) does have it share of ghost stories. Have you heard of the bus incident? Yes? Well, I’ve always thought that it was nonsense right until that very day, it changed the way I thought about ghost stories. It happened during the holiday break when the campus is most serene. It was already late in the evening and being one of the committee members that holds the induction for new students, I had to be there to prepare the hall for the newbies.

Yes, ghosts. Not one but many. You see, my friend Jason visited Phoenix Plaza in Cheras not long ago. Phoenix Plaza happened to be quite an old shopping complex but back in the 80s, it was one of the hot spots of Cheras. Jason went there because as he was invited to a game of badminton and apparently, there is a badminton court indoors that are ready for rent to those interested in this sport.

It was the first time that Jason went there and he did not know where to park his car so he went around the parking lots looking for a suitable carpark. After deciding to park in this specific floor, he looked around for the exit and asked his friends (who were already there in the middle of the game) where was the location of the court. After searching for a while, he decided to go to the toilet first and then only search for the court. Because it was already late in the evening, he did not think of anything weird about the emptiness of the parking lot. He did not even think that there was anything weird when he heard footsteps following behind him walking towards the empty washroom.
