Author’s Note : My cousin, Shen lives in a haunted house in Melbourne Australia. How does she know that her house is haunted? Well, its not very difficult when someone tells you.

Shen lives in a house in Melbourne, Australia with her boyfriend and his brother. Little does she know, over time that her boyfriend’s brother, J, posses the ability to sense and see ghosts. In the beginning when they moved in together, Shen did not understand why J was a withdrawn and introvert person. Soon, Shen’s boyfriend explained that J was very preoccupied with beings that neither Shen nor her boyfriend could see. Because J is still disturbed with the fact of his special ability, he kept himself mostly in the room blogging. Shen, a curiosity cat she was, always asked J for some ghost stories to tell since he has encountered many but was always faced with rejection from J.

Yin and her friends love to go for the nearby beaches at night to enjoy the night’s sea breeze. One particular night brought Yin and her friends to realize that sometimes things are not were they seem to be.

It was a cool and breezy night for Yin and her friends when they decided to stay by at a mamak stall near a beach in Negeri Sembilan for drinks. There was in total 2 cars and everyone jumped out of the car and hang out at the mamak stall. It was about 2 in the morning when Yin felt the call of nature. Perhaps she was drinking too much of teh-o-ais-limau (Ice lemon tea). Co-incidently, her guy friend James also felt the call of nature and asked the owner of the mamak stall if there was any toilet nearby. The mamak stall owner told Yin and James that the nearest toilet would be some distance away and the easiest way to relieve themselves was probably at the bushes nearby. Yin refused to relieve herself that way and urged James to accompany her to the toilet the mamak stall owner was talking about. After asking for some simple directions, Yin and James informed their friends and headed down the long and lonely road.

Author’s Note : This post is dedicated to my grandpa whom has recently passed away on the 23/2/2007.

After writing so much ghost stories, I’ve never imagined that one of the ghost story that I’m about to tell would involve my own grandpa. My grandpa passed away recently at the age of 82 and being a Chinese, he would be 85 years old. Don’t ask me why add 3 yrs but the elders tell me its to add the sky, the earth and the hell or something like that. Perhaps someone could enlighten me about what this meant. He passed away due to lung collapse. The factor that caused it? Due to excessive smoking when he was young.

This ghost story is not something of a horror but it was a scary experience for my aunt’s maid, Daisy who was sort of taking care of his basic needs (of changing diapers and other toilet needs) during the last few week of his life.
