Sg Besi Highway’s Child

Wednesday, May 2nd, 2007

This is a story told by a friend of mine who loves to listen to horror stories on a local radio station. This incident happened at the Sg Besi Highway which was back then (a few years back, that is) was not so conjested as how it is now. It is about a lady who always used Sg Besi Highway as one of the roads for her to travel back and forth from work. Here’s how it goes…

I used to work until very late at night everytime. Because I fear more of humans than of ghosts, I would speed as fast as possible so I could reach home in the most minimal time with less worries of what would have happened on the road. You know, those stories you hear of people trailing your car or “accidently” crash into your car only to get your attention. At one rate, I finally did get caught by the traffic police at the Sg Besi Highway. They stopped me and told me that they have taken pictures of me speeding along the highway which somehow would cause me a fine. I obliged but only with the proof that I was really speeding.

A few weeks passed and finally the police contacted me. They told me that I could get the pictures that they have taken at the police station and told me to drop by that very evening. Curious with the commotion, I went. To my surprise, I was questioned by the police officer who was the driver behind my car and pointed to me a photograph of a little girl smiling at the camera sitting on the driver’s seat, the very seat that I was sitting on at that time. Nevertheless, I was fined and given a good warning about putting a child on my lap while I was driving. It never occured to me that something was wrong because I was very sure that there was probably something wrong with the camera at that time.

Old Klang Road’s HitchHiker

Wednesday, April 18th, 2007

This incident happened quite sometime ago at Old Klang Road, a place where my friend, Kim, used to stay. Every night, Kim used to go out around Old Klang Road til wee hours in the morning with his friends using his dad’s car. He would sometimes even drive me and some of my friends around town to get a sip of the yummy tea tarik at the nearby hawker stall at Old Klang Road. That, was old news until he did not go out late night anymore. We were curious why he would not hang out with us anymore and found this out.

Haunted Office in Malacca

Sunday, April 15th, 2007

I had a friend that used to work in Malacca, near the Bunga Raya Road. During his tenure at Malacca, he often heard of stories and experienced some himself. I guess afterall, this historical city of Malacca, does hold not only histories but also some spooky ones as well. Here’s one of the stories that will get your spines chilled.

When I first started out working at this office in Malacca, I only noticed that this building was a very old building. According to some, it was more than 100 years old. After a while, my colleagues confided me that this office was haunted but I did not really believe. That was when he told me an experience of his that, well, let’s just say I did not dare to stay any later after 8pm.

The company I worked in was a logistics company that deals with many countries across the world including America. Therefore, it wasn’t uncommon that some of my colleagues would come over to the office in the middle of the night to fax documents to America since it was daylight there. That was when something happened to my colleague, KC. KC was just suppose to fax some documents to America and arrived in the office a little after 2am. The company’s structure was divided into 2 parts, the front part and the back part (both parts of the office has the fax machine). Since the front part of the office was locked, he decided to walk to the back part and fax the documents instead. Afterall, it was easier than to open the locked doors and everything.
