Thursday, December 14th, 2006

Author’s Note : My friend, Angie related this incident back to me. She mentioned that although this story may not be one of the scariest experience she had with supernatural beings but at that moment, she feared for her son

On one of the holidays, my family, which consists of my son and husband decided to go for a short holiday trip together with my mother and MIL (mother in law). At that time, it seemed like a good idea and co-incidently although it was a last minute decision, there was a rooms available in the usually peaked holiday season. 3 days before we took off to Haadyai, Thailand for the holidays, my son fell sick for 3 days but was however assured by the doctor that he would heal soon.

On the journey to Haadyai, my son seemed to look better and when we decided to make the first stop at one of the Kuan Yin Ma Temple, he was feeling much better already. As soon as we checked to one of the hotels at Haadyai, Thailand, my son immediately took in fever and vomitted a little blood. Perhaps it was due to the pizza my husband ordered for him over lunch.

Monday, November 27th, 2006

My great grandma passed away at the age of 96 years old. That, was about 5 – 6 years ago. By now, if she was still alive, she would be celebrating her 100th ++ birthday. It never really work because I always ask her again the next time. Its funny thinking back that I’ve always loved to hear ghost stories.

It was not until one day she finally gave up. She told me that old ladies or perhaps old people had the ability to see ghosts. It was something she realized when she reached her 60 something year old. At that time, being young, I was horrified and swore not to reach 60, just in case. She only managed to share with me 2 stories, one which I forgot and didn’t understand due to the language barrier she and I shared (she spoke cantonese and at that time, I could only understand very little of it) and the other, well, this was what she experienced.

Hotels in Malacca haunted?

Friday, November 24th, 2006

Recently, Melon, his girlfriend, Cream, Sunny Boy & Jane went for holidays at Malacca. After some thought of the many array of choices of hotels in Malacca, they decided at a posh hotel which would be an easy access to the town center by walking distance. Equatorial Hotel was their choice of option. After checking into their own individual rooms at this hotel in Malacca, Melon & Cream with luck got a room with balcony whereas Sunny Boy & Jane had a room without a balcony.

Throughout Melon & Cream’s stay at Equatorial Hotel, Cream did not hear or see anything wrong although it was often she felt that the room sometimes creeped her. As for Sunny Boy & Jane, they enjoyed their holiday so much that they extended their stay there.
