My Grandpa Woke Up!

Every year my family and relatives would go to the cemetery to pray at my grandpa on the day that he passed away. As soon as we arrived to the cemetery, the routine would be that we would pay our respects to the God that’s supposedly taking care of the cemetery. After that we would head up to my grandpa’s burial spot and start cleaning up the place. We would then place joss sticks and candles around the cemetery. My uncle would place joss sticks at burial plots surrounding my grandpa’s place as a sign of showing them respect. Night at Hong Kong

Author’s Note : This is actually a personal experience of mine. As much as I hate the thought of it being true, can someone please tell me that its just all in my head?

I recently just came back from my Hong Kong holidays and if anyone of you have been there before or gone through some research on going there for holidays, you’ll know that its not a cheap place to stay. Hong Kong hotels can charge an exorbitant price of RM300 a night even for just a 2-3 star hotel and since  me and my husband were planning to go there for quite sometime, we actually found an acquaintance who had a friend that rents her apartments to foreigners like us for a very good deal. The apartment was not only clean but it was right smack in the town and easily accessible with restaurants just downstairs. In fact, it was pretty creative of the landlord to divide the small apartment which has 3 rooms into 2 different units. One unit has just a room with an attached bathroom whereas the other  unit has 2 rooms with a sharing bathroom, living room, kitchen etc just like any other apartment.
