Haunted Office in Petaling Street

I used to work in a haunted office in located in Petaling Street back about 4 months ago and although I did not experience anything unusual during my short tenure there, my colleagues that worked there for the past year swore that there is definitely something there. If you have been to Petaling Street, you wouldn’t be surprise that the buildings there are mostly some 50 years back (I think) and I guess its no surprise if anyone mentions that there’s a ghost or two in some of those vacant building.

My office in Petaling Street are those 4 storey building. Back then when the company was still young, the company only occupied the first 3 floors (including the ground floor) leaving the 4th floor as a storage area. However, after the management decided to expand its business, only did they started to hire more people, thus moving the old furnitures and archieved documents to a warehouse nearby.

One near experience my colleague was one particular night when she was the last one to leave the office. Although she remembered to shut off all lights and air-con that particular night, my boss (who never fails to be the first to arrive) reminded my colleague the very next morning that she forgot to shut off all the electricity. My colleague was stunned but she did not mention anything. The next day, the same thing happened. My colleague made particular note to off all switches but my boss still came in the morning with the air-con fully in service. At first, everyone thought that there was something wrong with the air-con and asked experts to have a look at the problem but even the experts were baffled as they could not find any problems with the air-con. The only explanation we could give was that it was on “timer” mode. Funny thing? The air-con gives this problem “as and when it feels like it”.

There was also another time my colleague heard a lady laughing eerily when he had to do overtime. At the same time, there were chairs getting pushed around upstairs when it was very obvious that the only people in the office where another 2 more colleagues with him at the same floor. The moving chairs and laughing woman wouldn’t stop and in the end, he and his colleagues decided to call the night quits and ran out of the office as fast as they could.

I guess its also worth to mention that typing sounds are also often heard after 9pm.

Talking bout OT…there is one time where i used to work with my gf in the same company at pudu. Its about 9-10pm…we r busy with our jobs which is urgent. Oour company is 4 storey building and at that time everyone gathered at 2nd floor doing own jobs..And dat time my gf go up to 3rd floor to take sumthing because her department was at 3rd floor..so when she reach her cubicle and looking for the thing, she heard typing sound came from her art director cubicle…so at first she thought dat was her art director although she still abit curious cos when she go up she pretty sure dat her art director is still at 2nd floor meeting room with other collegue…but she think he must be from another stairs (one stairs is behind her cubicle and one stairs is behing her art director cubicle), so after she found the thing she look for, she walked towards her art director cubicle and started ask him y he can go up without making any sound, with a few more steps to reach there, she stop and had goosebumps all over her body, she can see clearly there was nobody there…she just stucked there for a while until me myself go up to check on her and saw she was stumbled near the art director cubicle…after she saw me then she just can barely move…haha pity on her…
